Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Adoona account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it, and how to request deletion if you no longer have the app installed.

Delete your account in the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in Adoona:

  • Open Adoona and sign in.
  • Go to your Profile, then open Settings.
  • Tap Delete account.
  • Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are removed immediately and you are signed out.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data from Adoona, including:

  • Your profile and account (name, username, email, and login credentials).
  • Your videos and uploaded media.
  • Your comments, likes, follows, and other activity.
  • Your direct messages sent from your account.

Because this data is linked to your account, it is removed together when the account is deleted. Content you sent to others (for example, a message another person received) may continue to appear on their device or copy.

Request deletion without the app

If you have uninstalled Adoona or cannot sign in, you can still request deletion. Email support@adoona.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it.

To verify and process your request, please include:
• The email address or username on your Adoona account.
• The subject line “Account deletion request”.

We will verify ownership of the account, complete the deletion, and confirm by email, normally within 30 days.

Data retention

When you delete your account, your data is removed from our live systems right away. Residual copies that exist in routine encrypted backups are purged on our normal backup cycle, within 30 days.

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it or to prevent fraud and abuse, for example transaction and payment records for tax and accounting. These records are kept only as long as required and are not used to rebuild your profile.

If you subscribe to Adoona Plus

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an Adoona Plus subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play, because those subscriptions are managed by the store, not by Adoona. To stop future charges, cancel the subscription before or after deletion:

  • iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  • Android: open Google Play, then Subscriptions.
